Digital Radiology for Pets in Fremont

Our veterinarians can gather a lot of information about your pet’s overall condition throughout the course of a hands-on examination. In many cases, though, we need to dig deeper. Our digital radiology equipment is one of our most important tools in these situations. This equipment allows us to peer deep inside patients’ bodies to examine bones and observe the size, shape, and position of internal organs. And unlike traditional x-rays, digital radiology exposes patients to very little radiation and provides instant results.

Radiography is non-invasive. We use radiographs to diagnose everything from broken bones to pregnancy. They come in handy when we’re trying to determine the location of an ingested foreign object, too. Digital radiology enables our vets to view x-rays immediately and enhance them to get a clearer view of what’s going on inside a patient’s body. We can quickly share the digital files with other veterinarians and specialists when needed, too.

Digital x-rays are faster than traditional ones. As a result, your pet will need to spend less time under anesthesia (if needed), and we’ll be able to begin an appropriate course of treatment sooner.
